Beca Predortoral/PhD grant

Grant for MSc and PhD studies in Computational Chemistry at the Department of Physical and Inorganic Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry of Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona).
The student will join the Quantum Chemistry group to develop his/her research work in computational chemistry, in the study of photochemical reactions.
The group is not very large but quite active, as it is shown by its productivity (more that 100 publications in the last 5 years).

We offer a 12 month grant (starting immediately) renewable for 3 more years. During the first year the student must follow the MSc course in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry. This will be considered also an evaluation period. At the end of the first year, an extension to 4 years to complete a PhD will be considered.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Physics will also be considered in some cases.
