Research associate position in SARS-CoV-2 antiviral drug discovery

The successful applicant will work in a research project focused on the discovery of anti-SARS-CoV-2 small-molecule agents targeting functional structures formed by the viral RNA
 
This work is funded by Fundación La Caixa and Ministerio de Ciencia of Spain and will be carried out in the laboratory led by José Gallego at Catholic University of Valencia (UCV) Spain, using state-of-the-art biophysical, biochemical and computational techniques

Who can apply: Graduates in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Pharmacy. A Master degree is required. Candidates with experience in the field and a good command of English will be preferred.

Conditions: 1 year contract with a gross annual salary of approximately €16,000. Starting date: September 15th, 2021
