Our Research Group, METBIOCAT, is seeking Postdoc candidates to work in the following project: Collaborative project at the interphase between catalysis, chemical biology and materials science.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn and work in a multidisciplinary group and in a challenging and cutting‐edge research environment, in one of the best research centers of Chemistry in Spain.
This position will be funded by a POCTEP project.

DESCRIPTION
Research topic: Metal-mediated catalysis at the interface between material science and chemical biology
PI: José Luis Mascareñas Cid
Starting date: Between June and November, 2019
Terms and conditions: Full-time one-year contract, with possibility of extension for at least another six months.

REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD in Chemistry. Excellent academic and scientific record, with some publications in top journals as main author. Experience in research activities in synthesis and organometallic chemistry.
- We seek outstanding individuals with initiative, creativity and team‐working ability. Strong commitment for scientific excellence in a highly competitive environment is a must.
- Previous experience in chemical biology, as well as in material sciences will be highly considered.
