The Naturejobs Career Expo is brought to you by Naturejobs, the careers and recruitment section of Nature Publishing Group, publishers of Nature.

The Expo – now in its fourth year (previously named the Source Event) - is the UK’s largest career fair aimed at all those in the physical sciences, life sciences and medicine. This year, we welcome over 30 companies and organisations, presenting a very broad range of career choices, both in the UK and abroad. All the exhibitors are actively seeking qualified scientists to fill a breadth of positions and eager to talk to the attendees.

Alongside the exhibition, the conference programme offers a broad range of topics, presented by speakers from the public and private sectors, academia and industry. Two of the morning’s sessions are aimed at graduates and at postdocs, while the third presents a range of less traditional careers for scientists. This track continues in the afternoon with, alongside it, sessions focussing on soft and transferable skills and on the tool vital to presenting yourself to your future employer – the CV.

Also during the day, four organisations will be running in-depth workshops to tell you more about their aims, scope and job opportunities

The Expo is designed for all scientists to explore, discuss, and seek out the opportunities that will take you on the next step of your career.

Please note:
The EXHIBITION is open all day from 9.00 to 17.00 and is free to all. Though attendance at the exhibition is free, attendees must register.

The CONFERENCE - which itself runs in three parallel tracks, each with a number of sessions - starts at 9.30 and runs to 17.30. Attendees pay to go to it.

Should you benefit of a Marie Curie Grant Agreement, this fee can be charged to the project with the prior agreement of your supervisor.

Please note that the cost category would depend on which action it is, and who is attending.

There are 4 WORKSHOPS: two in the morning (10.30 -12.30) and two in the afternoon (14.00 – 16.00). Each Workshop can hold only 60 attendees.
