Seeking Candidates for the Juan de la Cierva Postdoctoral Fellowship

We are seeking candidates to apply for the JUAN DE LA CIERVA 2023 contract awarded by the State Research Agency (Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities). The objective of this contract is to facilitate the integration of young individuals holding a doctoral degree, enabling them to advance their postdoctoral research training in Spanish R&D centers.

The candidate will join the Vascular and Renal Translational Research Group of the Biomedical Research Institute of Lleida (IRBLLEIDA), in the area of Kidney disease, Aging and Regeneration, under the supervision of Dr. Milica Bozic.

Skills/Qualifications
We seek a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate with the PhD in Biomedicine/Life Sciences, or related areas (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology. etc.). You should have an experience in molecular biology techniques, cell biology, cell culture, and animal experimentation. You should be self-motivated and hardworking with an inquiring nature and critical approach to work. You should have a profound interest in gaining new skills and be well organized. Applicants are encouraged to highlight any prior research experience that could be relevant. Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken). Good record of research achievements and publications, minimum 2 publications as a first author. International mobility. High level of collaborative and communicative skills.
Specific Requirements
To have obtained the doctoral degree between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023, understood as the date of reading and approval of the doctoral thesis.
