Production Manager. HEMPEL A/S, ubicada en Barcelona. This is your opportunity to join a global company, where you will be responsible for managing all actions related to production in the assigned area. As a Production Manager at Hempel, you will be the person responsible for planning and monitoring all production activities within the assigned area or unit to maximize the use of the organization’s resources. Here’s some of the other things you can look forward to: Ensuring production is done according to procedures and formulations to keep the required Quality standards. Organizing and controlling production activities, manufacturing processes and efficiency in all work centres. Analysing production, maintenance and malfunction records to identify problems and recommend solutions (for example changes to procedures, workflow or equipment) that will improve performance. Implementing culture and processes oriented to Lean Manufacturing, cost efficiency, and flexibility in production lines to fulfil with customer demands. Ensuring all guidelines regarding Health & Safety and Environment are in place and followed by all employees in the department. Our ideal candidate will have a technical background followed by production supervision working experience. You should also have the following qualifications: University degree in Engineering or Chemistry preferably. At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor / Engineer in the chemistry sector preferably. Knowledge of paint and coating technologies. Ability to speak and write fluent English and Spanish. Computer skills. Planning & organising skills. Management control skills. Communication skills. Analytical mindset. Ability to work in a team.
