PhD at Mondragon University - Metal Forming

ADVANCED FORMING SIMULATIONS Global Oil&Gas company (Tubacex) is seeking for the construction of the digital twin of their manufacturing process. The objective is this project is the development of the digital twin of the extrusion press in where the tube production is performed. For that, an advanced finite element simulation will have to be constructed as the digital reproduction of the industrial line.
The project will be developed in a close collaboration with the company itself (Tubacex), with a technical center in order to couple the digital twin with corrosion resistance predictions (Tecnalia) and the Technical University of Graz (TUG), the former ones in charge of the microstructure evolution modelling.
