Molecular Phenotyping: Biomarkers, Molecular Mechanisms and Therapeutic Targets
Dr. David de Gonzalo Calvo (IRBLleida) is seeking a highly motivated Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biology, or related fields to join an innovative research project in the field of respiratory medicine.

Project Overview: This project aims to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying lung sequelae in survivors of critical illnesses. The research will be conducted within the framework of Molecular Phenotyping, focusing on the use of omics technologies as essential tools for identifying biomarkers, discovering new therapeutic targets and optimizing clinical decision-making. This work is part of ongoing projects led by Dr. David de Gonzalo Calvo (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=de+Gonzalo-Calvo+D&sort=date).

Mandatory Requirements:
• Compliance with the specific requirements of the grant.
Research Experience Requirements:
• Experience in research projects within biochemistry or molecular biology.
• Additional experience in statistical analysis and/or bioinformatics is highly valued.
• Scientific publications in indexed journals.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating autonomy and responsibility.
