Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) grant call

The Microbiology research group from the University of Aveiro (Microlab -
http://biomicrolab.web.ua.pt/) is looking for highly motivated students for applying to the Foundation for
Science and Technology (FCT) grant call (www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/concursos/individuais2014.phtml.pt).
In the scope of our research on microbial interactions, we are developing the following projects:
- The infection mechanism of a fungus involved in the decline of cork oak, using omics
technologies and the impact of climate changes on this infection.
- Grapevine trunk diseases, hydric/thermal stress and climate changes.
- Aeromonas mechanisms of resistance: an omics approach.
If you want to integrate a dynamic team, that will give you full support to your PhD research, if you are
a hard worker, available to spend some time abroad working with top scientists, and are interested in
