Duties & Responsibilities:__ A Postdoctoral research position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Sergio D. Catz. The candidate will participate in research projects designed to study the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the regulation of vesicular transport, focusing on the role of the small Rab GTPases and Rab effectors in the regulation of neutrophil functions, using primary cells from unique animal models. The candidates will use a combination of molecular and genetic approaches to study cellular processes directly linked to human disease.
Requirements:__ A Ph.D. in the area of cellular biology, molecular biology or immunology is required. Preferred candidates should have experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques including microscopy.
